We advocate for food, water, and medical attention in Vietnam
Our Audience
The audience appears to be potential donors, international volunteers (especially healthcare professionals), and local Vietnamese communities, as well as possibly government or NGO partners. These are groups likely to be interested in supporting, funding, or participating in the nonprofit's mission of delivering healthcare through mobile medical trucks.
Our Purpose
The purpose of the writing is to promote health in Vietnam by raising awareness of the nonprofit’s work, encouraging donations, volunteer involvement, and establishing credibility. It likely aims to showcase the impact of medical trucks and highlight unmet healthcare needs in underserved areas of Vietnam.
Our Story
The Vietnam Medical Aid Foundation (VMAF) traces its origins to the vision and determination of Kristy Nguyen. Inspired by her mother’s heartfelt yearning for a safer Vietnam and her stories of the country’s critical healthcare shortages, Kristy resolved to make a difference. Despite being told repeatedly that her goal was unrealistic, she channeled her passion into action. Starting with limited resources, she reached out to medical teams and local hospitals, forming partnerships to bring her vision to life. Initially named Pangea Kids, the nonprofit grew from Kristy’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare access in Vietnam, eventually evolving into the Vietnam Medical Aid Foundation—a symbol of hope and resilience for communities in need.
